Laura Jackson was born and raised in the Texas panhandle and attended University of Oklahoma. Laura began her career in the elective surgery arena in 1996 in Canada with laser vision correction. As the CEO of Horizon Laser Vision Center, Laura had the opportunity to plan, manage and execute a wide range of internal and external marketing and advertising initiatives. After 10 years, Laura returned to the US as Business Development Manager for VISX/AMO based in the Midwest. Her expert skill in practice evaluation, program implementation, staff training and project management was put to good use while working with some of the largest and most influential private and corporate practices in North America. In 2007 Laura was promoted to Manager of Business Development for AMO –UK and successfully put together an international team of Business Development Managers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This opportunity allowed her to expand her business and staff training experience to more international audiences in the diverse markets across Europe. Returning to the US Laura moved into the position of Director of Sales for Modern Solution bringing to her aesthetic and refractive customers a wide range of advertising and marketing programs. Growing her customer’s business, whether corporate or individual, remains Laura's primary focus.
Christine Lapointe was born and raised in New England and is a graduate of The University of California at Riverside. Her work experience in the elective surgery industry began in 1996 and she has since gained national recognition as a consultant, public speaker and published author. Her marketing and practice development skills are acknowledged nationally. Her work experience in this sector has included Sales Director with Modern Postcard, Business Development Specialist with Advanced Medical Optics, Practice Development Manager with IntraLase Corporation, National Sales Manager for The Laser Vision Institute and Area Manager for Lasik Plus and Summit Vision Centers. Additionally, Christine has continued to work as a consultant for both private practices and nationally acclaimed academic institutions in both the Vision Correction and Aesthetic industries. Christine has a great understanding of both the technical and business challenges facing the elective procedure industry for both physicians and manufacturers. Her intimate knowledge of the vision correction and aesthetic markets provides insight into the intricacies required to successfully introduce and launch new technologies into practices and device companies from the inside out. Christine Lapointe’s experience is not limited to marketing and practice development. She has extensive experience in staff training and motivation, sales counseling techniques, marketing strategies, web strategies, as well as public relations and outreach. Christine’s follow through actions have gained her trust and credibility in highly acclaimed practices and Academic Institutions. She is seen as a resource for physicians and staff for validation and recommendations in all aspects of practice building.
